HCPC proposes 20% hike fee hike for registrants

The Health and Care Professions Council has today launched a consultation about increasing its annual fee by 20 per cent. The massive percentage hike, if it goes ahead, will take the annual fee from £98.12 to £117.74 per year and will take effect from July 2023. UNISON intends to put in a robust response, highlighting the severe financial pressures and cost of living crisis, which mean health staff will struggle to pay any additional costs.
