A & E Operational Staff ~ Moving the patient safely Survey

A survey will be released shortly by YAS to look at the current moving of patients in the operational day to day work of the emergency, non-emergency and urgent work.

This follows on from the recent PTS Moving the patient safely survey.

This survey has been jointly created by staff side and the YAS Health and Safety Department.

It is extremely comprehensive and we recognise it is relatively lengthy. The data from the survey will hopefully ensure the correct equipment and training are made available to members across the trust.

UNISON would encourage all frontline members, who carry out manual handling of patients, to take the time to complete the survey.
