South PTS
UNISON PTS staff in South Yorkshire will be campaigning against potential privatisation of their service in Sheffield and Rotherham on Saturday 4th March.
The Patient Transport Service for the whole of South Yorkshire is currently out to tender and threatened with privatisation, risking both the service to the public and the quality and security of up to 200 jobs. Unison calls on the CCGs to keep the service in the public sector.
This campaigning will co-inside with the Health Campaigns Together national demonstration on the NHS. The government claim that they support the NHS and are not privatising the service, but they are dismantling the NHS before our eyes. This is a major service threatened with privatisation.
Come down and support us!
Saturday March 4th 11am-2pm in Sheffield we will be outside the Town Hall, in Rotherham we will be on Howard Street.
