Dementia

Over the last few weeks it has been brought to UNISON attention that staff are being

told to do Dynamic risk assessments of Dementia patients.

UNISON still believes that PTS staff have not had the appropriate training to

undertake this roll.

UNISON recommends that all Dementia patients should be double crewed if no

escort is available for safety reason to the patient and staff.
