PRIVATISATION

As you may be aware the Trust have recently lost the Hull P.T.S. contract to a private provider.

The South P.T.S contract is also currently out to tender.

The Government is attacking the NHS across the board.

As a Branch we know that privatisation will potentially have wide ranging implications for all our members. It directly affects

not only PTS staff but also potentially fleet, ancillary and others. Private companies are on the increase YOU could be next.

It is vital that all our members are supportive of our P.T.S Staff at this point in time.

As a branch we are doing all we can to oppose any further losses but please be aware we need your continued support. Our

strength is in our numbers, we all need to help protect our PTS Members throughout this period.
