Rota change + A&E Transformation

Dear Member,

The Trust has started the consultation around the A&E Transformation Programme, which includes changes to rotas.

However it has been brought to UNISON’s attention that not all members have been correctly informed about the starting of this process, received copies of the rotas that will affect them, or the policies that are involved.

In order for the Trust to engage in meaningful consultation, the Trust has to ensure that all reasonable measures have been taken to inform anyone affected by the process. UNISON has spoken to the Trust raising our concerns, to which the Trust has agreed to extend the period of time for implementation. Because of this the staff side ballot will be delayed to give staff the opportunity to view the relevant documents.

We would urge all members who as yet haven’t received the information surrounding this consultation to contact their locality manager as soon as possible. It is also advised that all members ask for hard copies, which again should be supplied on request from their locality manager.
