Government's announcement on public sector pensions

Many of you will have seen the government's announcement today regarding public sector pensions.

While we welcome this positive step, it is important that we let our members know that this is only a statement of principle and not an offer on any of our pension schemes.

Until we have such an offer we need to keep up the pressure and are still proceeding with our plans for a day of action on 30 November.

Thank you for all your hard work on the pensions campaign so far.
