As Members are aware the Trust has been working with an outside consultancy firm called ORH, with a view to changing A&E Rotas across the Trust.
The initial data for the rotas are now in the possession of the Trust, however the Trust feels that the figures show the minimum levels of cover for each station and further local analysis is required to see how that translates into actual station rotas, in order to represent the initial and ongoing requirements of the Trust.
UNISON has been pushing the Trust to release the data so that members can see exactly what is in the pipeline, and how any changes may affect their lives and decisions on future planning.
The Trust has accepted UNISONs stance that to keep members waiting for a prolonged period of time is not acceptable, however they argue that to send out data that will possibly change will only add to the confusion. The Trust has stated that they will get finalised data together in a readable format over the next few weeks and then release this information to members.
It is the plan of the Trust to implement new rotas from the first week of April 2016, unless stations wish to implement the rota patterns that they are given sooner.
