MEAL BREAK SUBSISTENCE
UNISON would request that all members who have been subject to an ‘out of window’ meal break or an ‘away from base’ meal break since the 20th January 2014 please keep a record of these and submit a paper claim form at the end of the month to request these payments are made. UNISON has not made any formal agreement with the trust with regards to their removal, UNISON is currently balloting it’s members over the whole operational redesign package and until it’s members have voted UNISON does not support any alteration to the current agreed policies.
CONTRACTED HOURS AND THE
UNISONS stance in regards to staff’s contracted hours during the rota change is as follows; Staff who are ‘owing the trust hours’ should have these hours written off as it is the trust who are wanting this rota change mid-way through a ‘reference period’ and any staff who are ‘up on their hours’ should be compensated for the additional hours that they have worked.
