Operational Redesign

Dear Member. 

UNISON formally responded to the Trusts Operational Redesign proposals last week, the Trust has now called a full day meeting this Wednesday to try to negotiate a final package.

UNISON YAS Branch is fully aware of members issues raised during the consultation however we have an obligation to members to negotiate on their behalf. Any negotiated package will then be put to a members vote.

UNISON has also raised concerns around the use of private ambulances on the streets of Yorkshire. The Branch considered withdrawing from all meetings with the Trust, due to their use, but decided to make it the first agenda item on Wednesday. Unless we reach a resolution the branch will ballot for industrial action as mandated by its members.
