UNISON Operational Redesign Response
Dear Member.
UNISON has formally responded to the Trusts Operational Redesign proposals.
The response includes all members concerns, which have been collated over the past few weeks. It highlights the major concerns raised around meal breaks, annual leave, relief, staff movement, part time/flexible workers, skill mix, the length of shifts, the need for an urgent tier and more.
UNISON has requested urgent talks with the Trust, now that the formal consultation period has finished. Within the next few days a ‘package’ will be negotiated between ourselves and the trust which will then be put to every affected UNISON member for a vote as to whether to accept or reject it.
Further area meetings will be arranged to discuss the package prior to the ballot.
