SOUTH STATION VISITS

UNISON has been contacted by many members concerned with the progress of the current A&E review. We are aware of many issues including communication with staff by the Trust, confusion over progress with proposed rotas and the detrimental effects of changes on our members.

In South there is a particular issue with the Trust apparently trying to proceed without full consultation. Members have been asked to work on rotas with out fully understanding who will sit on which lines, and without any knowledge of the policy changes to relief, annual leave and meal breaks that will accompany the rota changes.

UNISON has requested a special meeting with the Trust to discuss these issues which will be taking place next Tuesday 20th September.

Following this UNISON Convenors will be visiting stations to discuss any issues with members at the following times:
